Southern Homecare Inc. in El Paso, TX is looking for in-home care providers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, motivated, and trustworthy.
Responsibilities:
-Providing care to our clients
-Light housekeeping and preparing meals.
-Assisting with bathing, oral care, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues.
Qualifications:
-Have reliable transportation.
-18 years of age or older.
-No experience is required but preferred.

We are seeking a Field Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
Provide basic patient care and treatment
Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
Educate and update patients on medical treatments
Participates in the development and implementation of patient plan of care per agency policies.
Promotes effective written/verbal communication.
Complies with home health agency policies and procedures.
Promotes education for clients, client's families, and home health care staff members.
Completes all required documentation in accordance with the standards of the agency, and regulatory requirements, and turns in notes in a timely manner.
Accurately documents patient assessment, needs, procedures, treatments, education, and other pertinent patient information in the clinical record.
Participates in patient case conferences.
Implements infection control and safety practices according to agency policies.
Reports significant patient information to the DON or designated RN.
Qualifications:

Current nursing license/compact
Current BLS
Vaccinations up to date
Preferred 6 mos to a year experience in home health experience
Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff is required to wear masks, all equipment is sanitized and all proper PPE is used and supplied.
