Alice Yvonne Amaya , 64, of El Paso Tx. passed away peacefully October 19, 2025, in her hometown.
Born on January 18,1961 , in El Paso. Alice was the beloved daughter of the late Alberto and Ernestina Amaya. A proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. She lived a life rooted in Kindness, family and simple joys. She was a compassionate soul who deeply loved animals, especially her beloved dog Yogi. Alice spent many of her days at Salubris Adult daycare where she enjoyed great friendships, good music and excellent food. She had a gentle soul and found comfort in watching her favorite shows: Little house on the Prairie, and the Waltons. Fridays were a special treat for Alice- she looked forward to hamburger Friday from whataburger a simple pleasure she truly loved. She also cherished time spent with her best friend Daijah Altamirano, who’s loyal friendship brought joy to her life.
She is survived by her loving brother Arthur Amaya and devoted sister Angela Amaya; her cherished nieces Jessica and Tessa Tiscareno and her nephew Adrian Amaya. Alice will be remembered for her quiet warmth, her love of family and the joy she found in life’s little moments.

A visitation for Alice will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St, El Paso, Texas 79904 with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta, El Paso, TX 79905. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 8700 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904.
