Abusers are so wily and manipulative. There are infinite ways that they can tear down their partner. It is often so difficult to put your finger on exactly what is happening. For me, I kept trying to fix ME to make him happy. That was a losing battle. The more I did, the worse I was treated.

📣 NAMI El Paso is enrolling passionate community members for the next NAMI In Our Own Voice Program Leader Training!

🗣 We're looking to train speakers to share personal stories illustrating the reality of living with a mental health condition. By sharing your story, you would offer insight into the hope and possibility of recovery.

📚 These public presentations connect real mental health stories to special groups (educators, health providers, and law enforcement).

🧠 Trainees must be 18+ years old, identify as having a mental health condition(s), willing to share your story, and complete online training modules prior to in-person training.

🗓️ Sat., Aug. 16
⏰ 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
📍 Virtual on Zoom

🌟 Special thanks to for supporting mental health in our community!
