We had the privilege of hosting a Veterans Day Pinning Ceremony at Solstice Retirement Community, a powerful moment as we recognized the story of Veteran residents.

As the highest-ranked "We Honor Veterans" Hospice in El Paso, we remain dedicated to serving those who served us. The We Honor Veterans program, a national initiative by NHPCO and the Department of Veterans Affairs, ensures hospice providers deeply understand the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of every Veteran.

Operation Kibble Drop is off to an amazing start.🇺🇸

This initiative honors the powerful bond between Unsheltered Veterans and their loyal companions. With your donations and the support of our VA partners, we’re delivering pet food directly to those who need it most.💫

We’ll continue collecting and distributing throughout the holiday season and into the new year to ensure steady support for unsheltered Veterans and their pets.

How to Join the Mission:
🐾 Donate unopened dog or cat food at either Tender Care headquarters:
• 6400 Escondido Dr., El Paso
• 189 Howard Pl., Las Cruces

At drop off, please fill out form you will find in the donation boxes in location lobby, attach filled out form to your donation or leave with receptionist. Every contribution helps us reach another Unsheltered Veteran and their companion.💙

It was a truly special day at the Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home, surrounded by his family, fellow residents, and our Tender Care team. We shared laughter, memories, and listened to his favorite, Frank Sinatra🎶

Mr. Malafronte, your century of life reminds us of the beauty in every moment and the power of every story. We celebrate you today and always, thank you for allowing us to walk beside you, sir. 🇺🇸💙

A truly special evening in El Paso. 💙 Hope for the Holidays united our community in reflection, healing, and remembrance. We cried, we laughed, and we shared stories that reminded us that love never fades. 💫

We remembered that those we’ve lost are never truly gone, their presence lives within us, guiding and comforting us through every season.🌺

Gabriel Malafronte

Mr. Malafronte is a World War II Air Force Veteran and Tender Care patient. On November 10th he will celebrate an incredible milestone, his 100th birthday.💫

As a resident of Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home, the Veterans Home has initiated the 100 for 100 program inviting people across Texas to send 100 birthday cards in recognition of his century of life and service.

Tender Care is fortunate to care for Mr. Malafronte and all our patients who's story is always recognized and celebrated. Ladies & Gentlemen, join the movement and help us and our local partners celebrate Gabriel Malafronte.💙

We’re deeply grateful to every family and community member who joined us, shared their stories, and reminded us that even through grief, we walk together, with strength, love, and hope. 💙
