Head & Neck Cancer is rising — and it’s not just in smokers anymore.

We’re seeing more cases in younger, non-smokers, largely driven by Human papillomavirus (HPV).

💡 What to know:
• ~70,000 new cases/year in the U.S.
• HPV is now the leading cause of throat cancer
• Early detection = better outcomes

🚨 Don’t ignore these symptoms:
• Sore that doesn’t heal
• Persistent hoarseness
• Trouble swallowing
• Lump in the neck

⏳ If it lasts >2–3 weeks → get evaluated

🛡️ Prevention matters

• Avoid to***co + limit alcohol
• HPV vaccination is key
• Stay consistent with dental + routine exams

IBS is REAL — even when tests look normal 👇

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is not “just in your head.”
It’s a gut-brain communication issue that can cause very real symptoms like:

✨ Abdominal pain
✨ Bloating & gas
✨ Diarrhea, constipation — or both

The challenge?
👉 Labs and scans are often normal
👉 But patients still feel miserable

🚫 IBS is NOT:
• Colon cancer
• Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
• A condition that causes permanent damage

✅ But it DOES impact quality of life — and deserves attention.

Management isn’t one-size-fits-all:
✔️ Diet (low FODMAP, fiber balance)
✔️ Stress + gut-brain connection
✔️ Targeted medications

🚨 See a provider if you have:
• Unintentional weight loss
• Blood in stool
• Symptoms waking you from sleep
• Family history of colon cancer

👉 Bottom line: IBS is common, manageable, and VALID.

😴 Sleep isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity for your health.

Many people underestimate how powerful good sleep is for the body and mind. Yet millions of Americans struggle with poor sleep every night.

📊 Did you know:
• 38% of Americans sleep less than 7 hours per night
• The average person only feels well-rested about 3 days per week
• Over 1/3 report worse sleep due to late-night “doomscrolling”

Poor sleep isn’t just about feeling tired. It can contribute to:

🫀 Hypertension and cardiovascular disease
🧠 Depression and mental health disorders
⚖️ Weight gain and hormonal imbalance
🛡️ Immune dysfunction
😵‍💫 Daytime fatigue and cognitive problems

⚠️ Possible signs of a sleep disorder:
• Trouble falling or staying asleep
• Excessive daytime sleepiness
• Restless legs at night

💡 Healthy sleep habits matter:
• Keep a consistent sleep schedule
• Make your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet
• Avoid screens at least 1 hour before bed

Your body heals, restores, and resets during sleep. Protect it.

🌙 Prioritize sleep like you prioritize your health — because they are the same.
