We provide comfort, care, hope and choice to patients at the end of life's journey while guiding their loved ones through the grieving process.

Hospice El Paso is a nonprofit organization and El Paso's oldest and largest hospice. We provide medical, emotional and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families in El Paso County. Care is provided at home, foster homes, in nursing facilities or at Hospice El Paso’s beautiful new in-patient facility, the Center For Compassionate Care-West.

Honoring the Fallen this Memorial Day 🇺🇸
Today, Hospice El Paso joins the community in pausing to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage and selflessness are the foundation of the freedoms we cherish. We extend our deepest gratitude to the families who carry their legacies forward and to the veterans within our own care who have served with honor.

May we spend this day reflecting on their devotion and ensuring their stories are never forgotten.

Our team had a wonderful time attending the event and celebrating the incredible impact Candlelighters has on local pediatric patients and their families. When a family enters our Butterfly Program, we wrap them in a blanket of medical support, comfort, and care. Totaling it all up can feel overwhelming—but providing that care is possible when we all chip in together.

You don’t need to fund an entire program to make a massive difference. Look at how far your donation goes:

A truly special day at the Center for Compassionate Care ✨ We were honored to host a room dedication celebrating the incredible hard work of the Junior League, whose dedicated hands and caring hearts have officially transformed our space. They have brought two beautiful, vital rooms to life for our families: the Bereavement Room and our new Family Room.
The Bereavement Room was created as a quiet sanctuary—a gentle space for families to find a moment of peace, comfort, and reflection during the hardest times. Right down the hall, the Our Family Room is a joyful haven filled with toys, games, and books, offering children a bright, cheerful space to just be kids and play.
Both rooms provide our families with a much-needed place to step away, rest, and breathe for a little while.
We are overflowing with gratitude and give a massive thank you to the Junior League for their tireless dedication, vision, and hard work. Our families will appreciate and cherish these beautiful spaces so much. 🤍🦋

At Hospice El Paso, the support we provide doesn't end with medical care. Our Bereavement Counselor, Lizeth, works closely with our Butterfly families to ensure they have the tools they need to navigate life after loss.

Through the Butterfly Program, we provide essential resources like our Caregiver Kits and a specialized non-denominational book designed to help both adults and children process grief together. These materials offer guidance and a sense of connection during a family's most difficult journey.
