Hospice El Paso We provide comfort, care, hope and choice to patients at the end of life's journey while guiding their loved ones through the grieving process.

Hospice El Paso is a nonprofit organization and El Paso's oldest and largest hospice. We provide medical, emotional and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families in El Paso County. Care is provided at home, foster homes, in nursing facilities or at Hospice El Paso’s beautiful new in-patient facility, the Center For Compassionate Care-West.

We had the honor of celebrating Dr. Porter’s 91st birthday! 🎉💜 Today, he expressed so much joy, saying, “Thank you for coming to my party. I’m so happy. And, I hope you’re all having fun!”

Dr. Porter’s life is full of remarkable achievements—one of the first veterinarians to perform orthopedic surgery on a horse, featured in veterinary magazines, and with opportunities to travel the country as a horse racing vet. Yet, he chose family and community over fame, staying close to home in Texas and New Mexico. A true testament to love, dedication, and the joy of living each day fully. 💜

We are overflowing with gratitude to our incredible friends at Sagility Health! Last week, they rolled up their sleeves and poured their hearts into beautifying our space at the Center for Compassionate Care. Their hard work, kindness, and generosity have not only refreshed our surroundings but also lifted our spirits. The team planted flowers, painted, cleaned the outside patio area and built benches for families to sit.
 
Thank you, Sagility Health, for reminding us of the power of community and compassion in action. Because of you, our center feels even more welcoming and full of hope. 🌸🙌
