Citronella and Menthol (Mosquito repellent candles).
Mosquitoes love the way people smell. The chemical signals that the human body release is picked up by these small blood sucking nuisances. Citronella masks the chemicals being released by the body while menthol gives off a strong intolerable scent, causing mosquitoes to find a more desirable host.
