Martha and Joy were proud to represent Compadres Therapy, Inc., recently, at the 2025 PATH International Conference in Denver, CO!

One of the highlights was visiting the Temple Grandin Equine Center at Colorado State University in Fort Collins to learn about the latest research in equine-assisted services.

We were also incredibly inspired by the General Session keynote speaker, Dr. Temple Grandin, who shared her Insights into Animal Behavior and Autism. She was so gracious in taking time to chat and answer questions during her book signing.

Thank you to PATH International, Temple Grandin Equine Center at CSU, and all who continue to support equine-assisted services in the El Paso Borderland. ❤️ 🐎

We are kicking off this week with our MVPs and fan-favorite Quarter Horse hunks — Willow and Hollywood! ✨🦄🦄

This father-and-son dynamic duo are living their best first-career lives as therapy horses at Compadres Therapy, Inc., with a combined score of 12 years. Each brings something special to every session - patience, athleticism, friendship, and just the right touch of mischief. 🤠

Fun fact: rumor has it that Hollywood was once in a movie 🎬🐎 (he’s humble about it, though).

Our therapy horses are the true MVPs (Most Valuable Partners) - Meet Haley and Travis, our largest and most powerful therapy horses with hearts just as huge and kind.

One participant shared this unforgettable and heartwarming moment after connecting with Haley: “I was mad at the world, mostly. A big ole white horse put her head on my shoulder and made it all better.” ❤️
