Today, Thursday, November 13, 2025 start the funeral services of a great human being, highly inteligent, kind, hard and responsible worker, disability rights advocate and an amazing friend. Joseph (Joey) Acosta you will be greatly missed by your Volar Center for Independent Living family. You are finally in company of your beautiful and sweet wife Diana. Rest in peace 🙏 my good friend.

Mark your calendars to make time to make a donation of any amount that goes a long way to keep services alive and well to continue serving our community of diverse disabilities, helping them reach the different levels of independence independently living out in the community, living alone through housing, purchasing vital equipment to ensure that they are able to move, hear and also the purchase of wheelchair parts for manual and motorized chairs because of the ware and tear.
