Dr. Garcia graduated from Baylor University and then received his MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His next step was a residency in family medicine at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine-Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, where he became Chief Resident of the Department of Family and Community Medicine. He followed this with a fellowship in sports medicine at the same institution. In practice for 10 years, Dr. Garcia is affiliated with the Hospitals of Providence East Campus. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Medicine. A proud Texan, Dr. Garcia loves giving back to his community.
