Whole Health Month is a time to celebrate what matters to you, not what is the matter with you. After all, it’s about the person at the center of your health and well-being: you! See for yourself how Whole Health is helping Veterans discover what’s most important to them.

What matters in your life?

Multiple cities will participate in a statewide emergency alert test on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 10 a.m. CST as part of a coordinated effort led by the Texas Division of Emergency Management.

⏰ When will this happen?
Local alerts are expected at 10:00 a.m. CST (9:00 a.m. MT) (and may continue through 12:30 p.m. CST, 11:30 a.m. MT)

During this test, you may receive multiple alerts from different sources, including:
• 📱 Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) on your mobile phone
• 📢 Outdoor warning sirens across the city
• 🏫 Alerts from schools or local organizations

Important: All messages will clearly state that this is only a test. There is no emergency.

Why This Test Matters

Regular testing helps ensure that emergency notification systems work properly when they are needed most. This drill allows us to:
• Confirm alert systems are functioning correctly
• Improve coordination between local and state agencies
• Identify and fix any gaps in communication
• Help residents recognize and understand emergency alerts
• Encourage everyone to think about their personal emergency plans

What You Should Do
• ✔️ No action is required during the test
• ✔️ Take a moment to review your personal and work emergency plans
• ✔️ Make sure your contact information is up to date for your local alert systems

Your participation and awareness help keep our community safe and prepared. We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve emergency communications across the state.

Sign up with your local city website to receive a call or text notification in the event of an emergency, severe weather, or any incident that impacts city operations.
