Through The University of Texas at El Paso’s (UTEP) Border Biomedical Research Center (BBRC) and its Community Engagement Core, the “On the Road to Living Well with Diabetes” program is making a meaningful impact by addressing one of the region’s most pressing health issues: Type 2 diabetes mellitus. The Paso del Norte Health Foundation is proud to support United Way of El Paso County with a $25,000 matching grant for their Government Shutdown Relief Fund. Every dollar you give will be matched — doubling your impact for families in need. Donate today to make a difference!

The United Way of El Paso County has established the Government Shutdown Relief Fund to support those affected by the delay and/or reduced SNAP benefits or those who are currently furloughed due to the shutdown.

The initial goal is to raise $25,000 that will be matched 2-to-1 by the Paso del Norte Health Foundation and the United Way of El Paso County, maximizing impact in our region.
