💙 National Women Physicians Day 💙
Yesterday, February 3, 2026, we proudly celebrated National Women Physicians Day and want to express our deep gratitude for our incredible medical provider, Dr. Shivani U. Mehta.

Dr. Mehta is a Board-Certified Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist who has served the El Paso community since 2011. She provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults and is an invaluable part of Atlantis Behavioral Health Services. We are truly thankful for her dedication, expertise, and commitment to our patients.

📜Why February 3 matters:
National Women Physicians Day honors the birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to earn a medical degree in the United States in 1849. Established in 2016, this day celebrates the achievements of women physicians, promotes gender equity in medicine, and recognizes their vital role in improving patient care.

🎄✨ Thank You, Nubia & Perla! ✨🎄

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Senior Case Manager, Nubia Bonilla, for coordinating our collaboration with the wonderful local event Un Juguete, Una Sonrisa EPTX 2025.

Because of Nubia’s dedication and leadership, Atlantis Behavioral Health Services was honored to be the official recipient of the toys collected during this community posada and toy drive—bringing joy, smiles, and holiday cheer to the children in our Case Management Program.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Perla Maese, Program Manager, for working alongside Nubia and helping coordinate the participation of our amazing ABHS staff, who were present to educate the community on mental health services and available supports. Your teamwork truly highlighted ABHS’s commitment to both service and education.

This event beautifully reflects the power of community, compassion, and collaboration. We are proud to be part of such a meaningful initiative and grateful for leaders who go above and beyond for the families we serve.

Today, Perla Maese, PSR Program Manager, and Korina Villa, LMSW, COO of Atlantis Behavioral Health Services, volunteered at Desert Hills Elementary for Clint ISD’s Thanksgiving Luncheon!

They helped serve students and their families — and even joined those whose parents couldn’t attend, making sure every child felt included and celebrated. 💛
