Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas released 5 barred owls last week that had recovered from broken bones or head injuries. All 5 back into the wild!

On our evening drive today, we saw this barred owl. I'm quite sure it's one of several RRCA has released in that area. A huge thanks to our volunteers that make this all possible!

This is a bald eagle we took in back in early December. It's right wing and tail feathers were severely matted up in cockleburs. Also displaying what we suspect is tendon strain in the right shoulder. We expect a full recovery and release soon!

Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas currently has 4 screech owls and 2 barred owls in our care, all confirmed vehicle strikes. All expected to be released back into the wild soon!
