A Medical Assistant is a valuable member of the healthcare team. They perform daily administrative tasks as well as assisting in minor clinical procedures to keep doctor's offices, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities running smoothly. According to the United States Department of Labor, the Medical Assistant profession is expected to be one of the fastest growing occupations over the next ten years. In our program, you can complete certificate programs in Certified Medical Assisting as well as complete the two-year associate degree program. Graduates of the CMA certificate option and AAS graduates are eligible to take the national certification examination. Through the AAMA and/or AMT.
