Every tiny heartbeat tells a mighty story. Each year, more than 200,000 babies are born in hospitals across the HCA Healthcare network — and some arrive earlier than expected. About 1 in 10 babies in the U.S. are born prematurely, meaning they enter the world before 37 weeks of pregnancy.

This Prematurity Awareness Month, we’re sharing knowledge and raising awareness about prematurity — because education empowers families to understand, prepare, and seek the right care.

Bringing Excellent Care to Our Community!

Thanks to the quick teamwork of first responders and our emergency teams, Walter is alive today.

After suffering a heart attack at home, he received life-saving treatment within minutes of arriving at our hospital — from rapid EKG response to advanced cardiac intervention that restored his heartbeat and gave him a second chance.

Recently, our teams reunited with the patient, his family, and the EMS crew who helped save his life — a powerful reminder of what’s possible when skill, speed, and compassion come together.
