I've had several wedding consultations in the last week, and I know there's a few Bridal/Quince fairs coming up, so I'll be reposting some of my event tips for y'all accumulated over 15 years of doing this!!!
FIRST: The better you organize before your event, the more you'll enjoy your day. DO NOT just leave it to chance and figure you'll "go with the flow on that day" or worse, you try to take it "organically". DON'T. Your contractors (like me) are often paid for time we work (like me), so we NEED to know when you want things to happen.
Often I get told, "This is the first I've done this." Me: Lolz, this isn't the first time this month for me!
One of the eye-opening moments I'm used to getting when I first meet a client is when they see how quickly I can visualize their day and can tell them what could and could not work. The better the day is planned, down to the details, the less probable it will be to get "surprises' that day, which usually aren't good.
