Military Veteran Peer Network (El Paso, Texas)

Military Veteran Peer Network (El Paso, Texas) EHN is establishing a group of specially trained peer counselors to work with service members, spouses and children of all ages

The MVPN provides support for servicemembers, Veterans and their families through one on one peer support, peer support groups, trainings (suicide prevention/awareness, mental health first aid, military cultural competency), community resources.... Military Liaison Program
In February of 2009, the Center created its Military Liaison Program to assist in coordinating services for military service members and their families and in establishing behavioral health service linkages with veterans groups and the military support community. When veterans, military service members or dependents come to an EHN facility, they will work with a Military Liaison who has been trained to meet their unique needs. When dealing with mental health conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), interaction and information sharing with an individual who is coping with similar experiences can often alleviate difficult situations.

Invitation to Connect at the Vet Café – Hospice El Paso

Please share-You're invited!

On behalf of Hospice El Paso I'm sharing an important resource they've created for our local veteran community — the Vet Café, a welcoming space dedicated to connection, conversation, and support for those who have served.

The Vet Café is designed to offer veterans a relaxed environment where they can gather, share experiences, enjoy a cup of coffee, and build meaningful relationships with others who understand the unique journey of military service. Whether someone is looking for camaraderie, information about available resources, or simply a friendly place to unwind, we want them to feel at home.

They would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word to veterans who may benefit from this space. If you know individuals, groups, or organizations that support veterans, please feel free to share this message or connect to them directly.

What the Vet Café offers:
• A welcoming community space for veterans of all service eras
• Regular gatherings focused on connection and conversation
• Access to local veteran resources and support services
• Opportunities to get involved through volunteering or community engagement
If you or someone you know would like more information, they'd be happy to provide details or arrange a visit to the café.

Thank you for helping them strengthen and support our veteran community. Your partnership truly makes a difference.

MARK Your calendars!!!!

If you meet the following eligibility criteria listed on the flyer, you could be eligible for free legal guidance!

Over the next 3 months TRLA will be hosting their legal clinics at a new centralized location with the El Paso Veterans One Stop Center.

Legal issues can be overwhelming, and seeking help shouldn’t come with a price tag. That’s why TRLA offers free legal services for eligible Veterans, widows and spouses of Veterans, as well as those still serving individuals who need to speak to a lawyer about the civil legal needs.

If you meet the following eligibility criteria listed on the flyer, you could be eligible for free legal guidance!
