Military Veteran Peer Network (El Paso, Texas)

Military Veteran Peer Network (El Paso, Texas) EHN is establishing a group of specially trained peer counselors to work with service members, spouses and children of all ages

The MVPN provides support for servicemembers, Veterans and their families through one on one peer support, peer support groups, trainings (suicide prevention/awareness, mental health first aid, military cultural competency), community resources.... Military Liaison Program
In February of 2009, the Center created its Military Liaison Program to assist in coordinating services for military service

members and their families and in establishing behavioral health service linkages with veterans groups and the military support community. When veterans, military service members or dependents come to an EHN facility, they will work with a Military Liaison who has been trained to meet their unique needs. When dealing with mental health conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), interaction and information sharing with an individual who is coping with similar experiences can often alleviate difficult situations.

El Paso’s natural spaces and wildlife are an important part of our region, and community input is essential as discussions continue around local habitat and future development.

I encourage community members to attend the public hearing on Wednesday, May 13, to learn more, stay informed, and share their perspectives on an issue impacting our environment and community.
