Today we celebrate the birthday of our incredible Nurse Manager Emeritus, whose leadership, dedication, and compassion keep RotaCare running strong. 💙 Your hard work inspires us every day!

Even when the lights went out and we were left without electricity, our team continued serving patients to the best of our abilities—switching to paper documentation and making sure no one was turned away. ✨

Thank you to our Nurse Manager and the entire RotaCare team for showing what true commitment to patient care looks like. 💪💉

The Richard McCallum Clinic was open this past Saturday, where we had the privilege of caring for 11 patients. Huge thanks to our incredible attending physician and medical director, Dr. Pierson, and to the 6 first-time volunteers from the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine who helped make the day a success. 💙

In Memoriam: Dr. Richard McCallum

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Dr. Richard McCallum passed away yesterday.

RotaCare El Paso owes so much to Dr. McCallum for his vision, leadership, and unwavering support in creating RotaCare and championing its mission. His passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to serving our community will be deeply missed and remembered for years to come.

The Board of Directors want to announce that from now on our clinic will be named The Richard McCallum Clinic of RotaCare of El Paso to honor his name. It is up to all of us to carry forward his fierce commitment to the Clinic and its mission in El Paso—and to realize his dream of moving the Clinic to a new location to better serve those in need.

We will miss you, Dr. McCallum, but your legacy lives on in every patient helped and every life touched through RotaCare El Paso.

It was a busy and rewarding day at the RotaCare clinic yesterday! We’re so grateful for the amazing teamwork and support from our many new 1st year medical student volunteers. Clinic update! 🩺 We saw 15 patients today, plus 1 Telehealth call with Dr. Pierson 📞 Huge thanks to Dr. Pierson and Dr. Vulisha for being our attending physicians 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ The A/C was much better today ❄️—still tweaking the run schedule, but the unit seems to be fixed ✅ Please check the attached spreadsheet for more info 📊 Let us know if you have any questions! 💬
