TTUHSC El Paso Family Medicine Residency Program Training Family Physicians for the border and beyond We strive to continue demonstrating excellence in education, patient care and research as the Paul L.

Texas Tech Family Medicine has been the "Neighborhood Family Practice" of northeast El Paso for over 30 years. Our Family Medicine Center is a 24,000 square foot practice site for Family Medicine Faculty, Residents and medical students, and is located 11 miles north of our teaching hospital, University Medical Center. It features four patient care areas, a large precepting room, a procedure area for colposcopy, skin biopsies, and other procedures, a Resident Lounge, a Chief Resident office and typical practice areas (reception area, phone room, business office and medical records). Foster School of Medicine Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center grows. We invite you to investigate the exceptional attributes of our program, of El Paso, and of Texas Tech. The baton has been passed! This is Justin Wright posting. Today marks a new era as I hand off the role of Program Director to Dr. Hartl. I want to thank all our residents and faculty, past and present, who have helped to make this program what it is today. We’ve done some great things and I’m incredibly proud to have been able to do this for the last eight years. I’m not going anywhere, but it was time for a new infusion of energy and I’m excited to see what Dr. Hartl has in store!
