What should I do to prepare for this Mercury retrograde?

First, keep in mind that the effects of Mercury retrograde are felt two weeks before the planet goes backward (that’s called the “pre-shadow”), as well as two weeks after it goes direct (that’s the “post-shadow”) — accordingly, our Mercury retrograde haze started on August 4 and will continue through September 30.
