Our Cohen Clinic provides therapy that is designed for the military community because we know the struggles faced by all military family members. Dr. Karina Bocanegra, Clinic Director, and Tom Moran, Clinic Community Liaison, recently attended the BorderPlex Veteran and Caregiver Expo in El Paso. This free event connected veterans and their families with resources, benefits, and programs designed to improve quality of life and strengthen the veteran community.

Dr. Bocanegra also spoke on a panel alongside a representative from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and the Director of Military and Veteran Services at Emergence Health Network. The panel focused on su***de prevention for active duty service members, veterans, caregivers, and military families. We always appreciate the chance to share about the vital mental health services we provide to the local military community!
