Back to the sling! A bumpy couple of weeks after a wrist sprain and now a greater tuberosity non displaced fracture (shoulder brake) from Unbound gravel in Kansas. Bummed to be sitting on the bench during racing season, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Grateful for .castro and .medical for all of their guidance and support.

My first pool swim meet in….23 years! 😳Thanks to the encouragement from the Taos masters! I did the 1650 in 26:32, with the soul goal of not belly flopping off the blocks. Mission accomplished ✔️
2nd place for females, after a total superwoman who swam a 1:14 pace…..🔥🔥🔥

I don’t want racing season to end! Fun weekend fest! The dirt was smooth and the climbs were no joke. Happy to nab 8th in my AG, amongst some fast fierce ladies on the 70 miler. No crashes, no flats, just smiles and a solid dirt uni-brow. ☺️
Big thanks to .cycles for always dialing in my ride pre-race.

An amazing race at Ironman Canada 🇨🇦.
I loved Penticton, I didn’t want to come home. The swim was unfortunately cancelled due to the lake inverting and dropping 20 degrees overnight, this was a bummer, but best to keep everyone safe. 6000 ft of climbing and 112 miles on one of the most beautiful bike rides I’ve ever experienced. Fast fun descents and some wind gusts to keep it interesting. Then my first marathon! The goal was to survive, but I did much better than that, beating my time goals and getting 11th in my age group. Not bad for my first shot…. And yes, I have the IM bug, there will be another.
Next up, some gravel races in Colorado, and Ironman 70.3 World Championships in New Zealand in December. What a ride 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️😍🎉

Special thanks to for all the Sherpa skills and listening to me whine after a huge training block. Couldn’t have crushed these goals without my awesome coach who listens, pushes, and is always so positive, so glad I randomly signed up for your camp 2 years ago.
And all of my friends and family who sent all the good vibes. Lots of love to you all.

Santa Fe Century race recap! 5/19/24
A fun, long, 106 miles and 5400 vert day starting at 7000 feet. Super fun following the police and this sweet army truck out for the first 11 miles. I met lots of nice people that helped keep me motivated along the way, even though I was gassed at mile 80 and tired from the gravel race the day before. Not the time I was hoping for, but managed to nab 1st in my age group and 8th female overall! Pretty exciting for my first century💥
Thank you:
for an awesome event, .photography & .photo.nm for the amazing photos shown here.
for coaching me on this journey

Late Race recap! For those who follow my personal account you may have heard I had a very memorable engagement at the end of St. George 70.3!
This race was tough and beautiful. I’ve never swam in a lake so clear I could see the athletes next to me 😯! The bike was tough, but a super fast descent after leaving snow canyon. I felt overall good until the run, I became ill at mile 2. My partner was giving me splits, but I knew I couldn’t crack top 10 that day, and wanted so badly to stop. I pushed to the finish line to find Jonah with a sign saying “marry me edude?!” This made a difficult day a glorious one. Thank you all for the well wishes! St. George you are beautiful, I’ll be back!
