Please pray for my foot. Neuropathy has caused a blood blister on the bottom of my foot that I didn’t realize was bad until it was almost too late. I am on some really high power antibiotic to try and kill the infection. No weight bearing for a while. Just exactly what I need. When you hear amputation it’s a little bit scary.

Now I need you all to add one of my best friends to your prayer list, groups and everything else.
Ryan Carter found out he has this dreaded disease and is fighting the same way. I know that prayer got me through it and will get him through it too!

Ok I have been quiet for a while because I am pretty much at the end of this war.

So I might get a little bit angry and vulgar but I apologize up front.

F**K YOU CANCER!

Too many of my family and loved ones are fighting this stupid s**t!

I know there is a cure, there is no profit in cure.

You know that it’s breast c awareness month. Every day is awareness day for us fighters.

So pray for ALL of the fighters!

Well I think I am coming to the end of the WAR! We battled relentlessly through all of the trials and tribulations. WE KICKED c ASS! THANK YOU! If you prayed, cried or whatever for me believe me WE APPRECIATED every single one. Now we start with the maintenance/monitoring of every thing. Can not believe a year ago we didn’t know what was going to happen but God was in control and we put it in his hands. And last but not least COLONOSCOPY get them done. If you are 45 it’s time. If you need a GREAT Doc. I have a couple of those too. If you have any questions ask! I still tell way too much according to Susan.

Well we did it! NO MORE BAG! So far everything is working. A little sore but definitely bearable. Praying we can bust out of here tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts!

Today is prep day for surgery. Clear liquids and no food all day. We are ready to end this battle and win this war. Colonoscopy saves lives. Prayers for quick and easy recovery.

Well after a long summer of open wounds, I was able to finally get in the lake! I am excited to say the least. Here’s to finishing the summer wet!

Ok this is going to be a long one.

As you all know I went in for the Take Down of my ileostomy on 7/10. Because I had a abscess he only removed my port and drained abscess with an incision below my belly button 5cm long 5cm deep and 5cm wide. I was sent home and told to come to the office the next morning.

On 7/11 we went to the office and there was not one person I recognized. Turns out that my surgeon had been in a fire at his home caused by a lightning strike. He passed away.

Here I am cut open and no surgeon. Mercy has kept his nurses together which we are extremely thankful for. I still see the PA and will continue to stay with her, is our plan.

As of today I am healing extremely well. Thanks to Juven.

We received a referral for a new surgeon today!! Looks like we are in good hands and on the road to recovery and being c free!

8/11/22 is the date I was told I had c. What a year it has been.
