My journey as a mama continues to be the most powerful conduit for healing. It’s hard to put into words how the love for your child opens places you never knew existed in your heart. That expansion has softened places in me that were once hard, and has fueled a passion for helping other mamas heal✨

I was once told it would not be possible for me to have a baby and every Mother’s Day I’m reminded of the power of holistic healing and what an honor it is to be a practitioner of Chinese Medicine.

No matter what Mother’s Day brings up for you; I hope that you feel seen, heard, loved, supported, and reminded of your power, strength, and capability to heal 🪷

“I got my period, yay!” I love getting texts like these. For women who have irregular periods, this is a big deal. Our menstrual cycle says a lot about our stress level and hormone balance, and because heavy, painful, or irregular cycles are so common, we often mistake this as being normal. In traditional Chinese medicine, a healthy period consists of bright red blood, a moderate flow, minimal to no cramps, once a month, with minimal premenstrual symptoms. “What? Is that really possible?” Yes, my dears. It is!🙂

Nervous system regulation was much needed this morning. It’s been a very busy week and I could feel myself slipping into anxious mode which is no bueno.

Thank you hubby for dropping little man off at school so I could have a few minutes to myself before heading into office. If I’m not ok, patients can pick up on that and that affects their experience Caring for myself is
an act of gratitude for you because
the quality of your experience
matters so much to me. As much I encourage others to care for themselves-I also need to be reminded that self-care is not selfish, it’s an act of being centered in yourself😉💜
P.S. my doggie gets it🐶

👋🏽 there! It’s been a while. Lately, life’s been feeling like someone pressed the fast forward button and how is it already October? That little voice that’s been whispering “less forcing more resting.” has been getting louder and louder and so that’s what I’ve been doing- listening and taking time to PAUSE in the midst of mothering my human and fur babies, running a biz, caring for my patients, showing up for my loved ones, being patient with my hubby, and letting go of the belief that I need to “power through” it all.

Autumn is always a good time to reassess and take inventory of what is no longer serving us. Every year around this time I get a strong urge to cut my hair and then immediately regret it. Thanks to , I have no regrets this time🙏🏽🙏🏽

I’m recognizing how attached I am to certain ways of being- to my structured days, to productivity, to how I look, to those comfort zones that keep me from truly growing.

Letting go of what hinders us and yet makes us feel safe is scary and hard, but what if there’s a freedom on the other side that makes it all worthwhile?

So here I go- committing to more rest, less force, and to letting go of the belief that I have to power through it all. Who’s with me?😉 🍂 🍂
