Kauai is the northernmost island in the Hawaiian chain. He resides in Ontario, CA where his two cats Magyk and Samhain share custody over him. Lonnies hobbies include a laundry list of skills that were rendered useless a couple centuries ago. He also plays Magic the Gathering somewhat professionally and would definitely be in the top circuit if he actually won a game.

An old client asked me about this the other day. Is it that easy to just take the pill and lose weight??

After a bit of research (of course) I gave her my answer. The answer is yes. Yes, you can lose the weight. Yes, you can fit in that dress. Yes, the scales will reflect what you always dreamed of.

Yes and no. 

Here's the thing, losing weight the natural way ( i.e. exercise and eating sensibly) is a journey. It can be long and arduous. But you pick up things along the way. You pick up positive mindset. You develop healthy habits. You learn to discipline yourself. You get to know yourself on much much deeper level than what a pill has to offer. Character.

Being strong is just as if not more important that mere "weight loss" I'm not talking about just being physically strong. You become mentally strong. Resilient. Unkillable in a way the pill can never come close to offering. Those who have trained with me understand.  

It was never about the destination.

It was who you became along the way.
