Welcome to my Facebook business page. I have a passion for fitness but more for helping others get fit and healthy. I have been in this special field my entire life. If it's weight loss you're after, more energy, flexibility, joint strengthening, balance, etc., you've come to the right place. I've been training for over 30 years and I work with all levels from beginner to advanced. Being a bit older myself, I specialize in working with the 45/50+ crowd in hip/knee strengthening and staying healthy and active so that we can all enjoy a long life. I am a Certified Strength & Conditoning Specialist, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Certified Golf Injury Specialist. Together, we will talk about your goals and aspirations, and I will tailor exercises to your ability and slowly but gradually progress you as you improve your CV fitness, strength, joint stability, balance, dynamic flexibility and more. And don't worry if you have never exercised regularly before.

*Beginners are welcome.

*My clients' ages range from age 13 - 93.

*Scheduling is easy so don't worry if yours varies. We will simply put our heads together and figure out which days & times fit for both of us. Some of my clients have set days/times, and others vary their days. Do you have an injury? No problem. I specialize in injury treatment & prevention (my degree), and I have had my fair share of injuries in the past. Plus, I have had my own personal battle with weight gain in my 20's. I pay very special attention to correct form and safe movements. I can also help you sift through all of the confusing exercise fads and nutrition/diet myths. I recommend a plant-based, all-organic whole food diet. A little on my background - my whole life has been in the fitness industry. I created & implemented executive fitness programs (Amblin Entertainment now DreamWorks & Sony Pictures) and owned my own studio at age 21. Growing up I was a competitive swimmer for many years, then ran track & cross country at age 31, followed by a year of triathlons and then a year of mountain bike racing..all while working at Amblin Entertainment. I understand that it can be difficult to get going. But it is much easier to workout with someone who can guide & inspire you. You will feel the difference and feel better after every single workout. AREA 44 Fitness is where I train in El Segundo just off of PCH & ES Blvd.

*You pay 0 initiation fee. $44/month for membership includes 8 free classes the first month. I am available for one-on-one & small group training (which also includes 8 free classes/month) and in-home & corporate fitness/wellness training. We have the Hanger 44 Suspension Training system, heavy ropes, medicine balls, a climbing wall, free weights, bench press, squat rack, machines, heavy bags, treadmills, and stairmasters. We have a great team and have a lot of fun!

She’s new to weight training and getting there little by little with every workout, PHYSICALLY with: increased overall muscle strength, bone density, better blood sugar levels, leg/hip strength (the KEYS to fitness), MENTALLY, less stress/more optimism, SLEEP-WISE, better quality sleep, BALANCE, STABILITY, COORDINATION, (I change things up), COGNITIVE FUNCTION, and so much more, too much to put on here.

What a feeling knowing that all of this happens every single time we workout with weights!

Talk about being determined! Can you feel it in Nat’s med ball smashes?!

My clients are all so different with different goals, health issues, etc. But one thing they all have in common is that they want accountability. When they have an appointment to train with me, it’s pretty much ✅ done, on their calendar, no dilemmas anymore. What a sigh of relief for them. And when I get to see them, it energizes me. We really do have quite a blast together!

Welcome Sonja!! She had heard repeatedly that weight training was important to add to her regular walking Mr. T (her dog) and Pilates routine. Smart to do at least by age 50+ especially since we all start losing precious muscle in our 30’s.

Here she’s doing one arm rows with a 12lb DB (in her left hand). There’s a balance factor that’s not so easy with the leg extended. I don’t usually give this one to someone new. But she killed it. Nice!

Nice Nat! I use toe walks for clients’ balance, foot/ankle strengthening, and posture.

Natalie is holding a 12lb dumbbell in her right hand which challenges her balance even more since her spine is asymmetrically loaded. This also causes the muscles of her spine - all of the back muscles and abdominal muscles - to have to react in a good way to keep her upright and steady.

My clients know that posture is my #1 thing. Great posture simply makes you a. look better and fitter b. look more confident c. it helps to keep the natural, healthy spaces in your joints.

Check yourself, look in a full length mirror, turn sideways, and see how your posture looks. I absolutely do this and check things daily, without a doubt ✅
