Sharing for our friends, Conley Farms Inc. Please see below to learn more about Nan’s legacy and how you can support a loved one with cancer. ❤️
Nan’s Harvest came to be in the fall of ‘22. My mother-in-law, affectionately known as “Nan”, had been diagnosed with cancer earlier that year. Ironically, she would battle the same cancer that took my dad a decade earlier. Never one to back down from a battle, Nan met it head on with faith and grace. During harvest that summer we were contacted by a few folks wanting our Romanian Red garlic specifically for their own cancer fighters. Turns out, that variety has one of the highest allicin contents, and allicin has some pretty incredible cootie kicking powers. Wanting everyone in a cancer fight to be armed to the teeth, in the fall we planted a special patch of Romanian Red just for Nan and her fellow fighters. When harvest came the following summer, every single bulb was given away to a cancer fighter or survivor. It’s been a year now since we lost Nan, but her legacy of love lives on in the hope and healing inside every bulb. If you’re in the midst of a fight or charting your course as a survivor, we’ve got battle bulbs for you! Come get your allicin armor and know you have the whole Farm Family standing with you. Because in this family, no one fights alone!
