🎅✨ Looks like we all made the nice list this year!

Santa stopped by our morning meeting with the COGS - Coalition of Geriatric Services, and it couldn’t have been a better way to celebrate the season and the impact this group continues to make.

Together, we were proud to support the Howard County Department of Aging Project Holiday initiative with a meaningful donation to contribute to the mission of spreading cheer & gifts to elderly adults in Howard County. Additionally, we were able to contribute to the Howard Community College CNA program, helping provide scholarships for those pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

We also had the pleasure of writing Christmas cards to the residents of Residences at Vantage Point in Columbia, who need to hear how loved & supported they are during the holiday season🙏🏼

Grateful to be part of a community that shows up, gives back, and makes a difference — clearly earning our spot on Santa’s nice list. 🎄🌟

It’s been a strong year of partnership, advocacy, and growth within the provider community, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to support the families we serve.

🎄🍪 Holiday Cookie Swap Recap! 🍪🎄

Yesterday, we kicked off the holiday season with a little sugar, a lot of laughter, and some wonderful team bonding at the 2nd Family office during our first-ever Holiday Cookie Swap & Team Building Event!

We were thrilled to have Cynthia from HomeCall LHC Group Inc. and Ashley from GuideWell Patient Advocates join us in person as we celebrated a year of collaboration, partnership, and shared commitment to serving seniors across Maryland. Lindsay from Stella Maris Inc., Lisa Cross with Marquis Health Consulting Services, and Manny with Enchanted Medical Supplies were all there in spirit- though missed!💙

The cookie decorating fun was made extra sweet thanks to the beautiful cookie kits from Kupcakes & Co., which brought out everyone’s creativity—and holiday spirit! 🎨✨

Events like this remind us how special it is to work alongside such dedicated partners. Here’s to continued connection, teamwork, and many more celebrations together as grows into 2026!

What a wonderful evening celebrating our annual 2nd Family Holiday Party at Ruth’s Chris! ✨

It was great to gather together, share a delicious meal, and look back on an incredible 2025. Thank you to our entire team for your hard work, dedication, and the heart you bring to our mission every single day. Because of you, this year was a success.

A special highlight of the night was presenting a 5-Year Service Award to Pamela Gibson, one of our exceptional Certified Nursing Assistants on the caregiver team. Her compassion, reliability, and commitment have made a lasting impact on the families we serve — and on all of us.

We’re grateful for everything we’ve accomplished together this year and excited for the growth and opportunities ahead in 2026.

There’s nothing better than catching up, sharing laughs, and connecting with people who are just as passionate about supporting seniors and their families as I am. A special highlight was seeing our former 2nd Family caregiver, now Geriatric Care Management Associate with Stanton Aging Solutions, Sabrina Amaral —so proud to see her thriving in this field! 🌟
