10/01/2025
In early 2013, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She just celebrated her 12th year of remission. Pictured beside her is my late cousin, Samantha, who fought that same battle but did not get the same outcome. She was an advocate and rock for many people going through cancer. She knew the ropes and helped others learn. A true angel and gift to the world.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, here are some facts you may not know about Breast Cancer:
• 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
• Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide (aside from skin cancers).
• In the U.S., an estimated 297,790 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in 2025.
• Men can also get breast cancer — about 1 in 833 men will be diagnosed in their lifetime.
For the entire month of October, when you book with me, I will donate 25% of my sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), an organization that provides
help to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services.
If you know a survivor, or your life was touched by someone who fought this battle, I want to encourage you to share their story and advocate for early detection and education.
