Between pouring into my clients, holding space for healing, and the behind-the-scenes weight that comes with being a pastor’s wife, my body has been asking me to slow down. And I’m learning to listen.
This kind of “sick” doesn’t come from a virus—it comes from giving deeply, loving fully, and sometimes forgetting that I, too, need rest and care.
I am not contagious. I am just a little worn right now.
I share this not for sympathy, but for honesty. Because I know I’m not alone in this. So many of us carry quiet exhaustion while still showing up for others with full hearts.
If you’re feeling this too, let this be your reminder:
Rest is not weakness. Pausing is not failure. Taking care of yourself is part of the work.
I’m taking a little extra time today to restore, so I can continue to show up in the way my clients—and my life—deserve. Thank you for your grace, your patience, and your understanding 🤍 I appreciate each and every one of you.
