At Aperion Care Elgin, we’re fortunate to work closely with our in-house cardiologist Dr. Paul Nguyen. Once a month, he spends time with our nurses and CNAs, sharing his expertise and strengthening clinical knowledge.

He also started the R.E.A.C.H. program (Risk Assessment, Education, and Cardiac Health) and brought it to the facility, giving residents access to ongoing cardiac education and support.

Beyond our building, Dr. Nguyen is Director of Cardiology at St. Joseph Elgin (Prime Healthcare Illinois) and the founder of S.C.A.R.F. (Sudden Cardiac-death Awareness Research Foundation).

Please join us in supporting him as he hosts the HorsePower for Hearts Charity Car Show on August 10, a powerful event driving awareness around cardiac health! Be sure to stop by our booth and meet our pitcrew. 😆
