Texts like these are why we do what we do! Not every patient needs aggressive adjustments, or even to have their back "popped" at all. Do we offer typical adjustments? Yes, but that isn't the best option for every patient.
This patient came in yesterday with severe lower back pain that caused them to lean to the side when standing and walking, also known as antalgia. They went to their primary care provider yesterday morning then came to see us. They had issues getting in and out of their car and getting up from a chair was tough.
We used techniques that a lot of other chiropractors don't use or may not be trained in. Dry needling mixed with flexion distraction, which is a low force adjusting technique that doesn't lead to clicks or pops in the back, got this patient feeling much better in only a couple of hours.
