✨ Meet Britney Dixon ✨
Britney Dixon specializes in trauma and EMDR therapy, helping clients gently process experiences that may feel “stuck” in the nervous system. She also provides s*x therapy and is currently pursuing her doctorate in S*x Therapy, continuing to deepen her expertise in intimacy, relationships, and s*xual wellness.
Her work focuses on helping people move from shame and silence toward clarity, confidence, and empowerment. Whether someone is healing from trauma, navigating intimacy concerns, or simply wanting a healthier relationship with their body, Britney creates a counseling space that is both safe and honest.
Britney shares:
“Healing happens in safe, authentic connection. The counseling relationship is about uncovering the strength, insight, and capacity for healing that already exists within you. I see my role as having the privilege to walk beside you as you reconnect with your resilience, your body, and the parts of yourself that deserve compassion and understanding. With the right support, curiosity, and compassion, even the most painful experiences can become pathways toward growth and reconnection.”

✨ Meet Micaiah Blancard ✨

Micaiah believes therapy is a space for everyone, in every stage of life. Whether someone is navigating the transition into adulthood, grieving the loss of a loved one, or working through life’s many changes, she creates a supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood.

Micaiah shares:

“Therapy is for everyone, in all stages of life; whether it is transitioning to adulthood or the loss of a loved one, therapy has a space for you. There is great power in speaking out loud the hardships you are facing. It can bring a sense of connection, re-evaluation, and empowerment.
My job as a provider is to walk alongside you as you process the littlest to the biggest changes in your life, and it is my honor. As we walk through these seasons of life, we can find connection, laughter, depth of emotions, and healing. I am grateful for the trust my clients put in me and look forward to every session to see what comes next.”

🌈 Meet Elizabeth Thomas 🌈
Elizabeth brings warmth, creativity, and patience into every session she leads. As a Registered Play Therapist, she specializes in working with children ages 3 through 8th grade.
Children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling, but they show us through play, behavior, and big emotions. Elizabeth creates a safe and supportive space where kids can express themselves in ways that make sense for their age while building emotional skills, confidence, and healthy coping tools.
She also partners closely with parents, helping them better understand what their child may be experiencing and how to support them at home. When families work together, meaningful change can happen.
If your child is struggling with anxiety, behavior changes, big emotions, or life transitions, early support can make a lasting difference.
Elizabeth shares:
“Children communicate in many different ways, and play is often their most natural language. Through play therapy, kids can safely explore their feelings, practice new skills, and begin to understand themselves in ways that build confidence and resilience. I feel honored to support children and their families as they navigate challenges and discover their strengths along the way.”
💙 Every child deserves a space where they feel understood, supported, and safe to grow.

✨ Meet Selena Stanberry ✨
As the owner of Harbor Counseling, Selena Stanberry brings both thoughtful integrity and attuned awareness to the work she does with clients. Her approach to counseling centers on the belief that people are not broken, they already carry the strength and resilience needed to grow and heal.
Selena shares:
“As a mental health counselor, I view my role a little differently than people sometimes expect. I believe that each person already carries within them what they need to grow into the version of themselves they hope to become. My job isn’t to ‘fix’ anyone, it’s to help uncover the strengths, insights, and resilience that are already there.
Coming to counseling does not mean you are broken. In fact, choosing to seek support requires a great deal of courage, vulnerability, and self-awareness. It’s something I deeply admire in the people I work with.
One of the things I value most about this work is that it is never one-sided. As a provider, I regularly learn from my clients. Their experiences, perspectives, and stories continually shape and deepen my understanding of what it means to be human.
It is truly a privilege to walk alongside someone during difficult or transformative moments in their life. I appreciate the trust it takes for someone to share their story, and I hold that space with great care. The space created within the counseling relationship is sacred, and I’m grateful each time someone allows me to share it with them.”

Whether Easter is a spiritual day, a family tradition, or simply a spring Sunday for you, this season holds a message many of us need:
New beginnings are possible.
If the year has felt heavy so far…
If stress has been building…
If you’ve been running on empty…
Spring is a gentle reminder that things can shift.
Growth doesn’t have to be dramatic. Sometimes it starts with one small step, like asking for support.

Today we recognize World Bipolar Day, a day focused on education, empathy, and hope.
Bipolar disorder is complex, but so are the people living with it. With support, treatment, and understanding, full and meaningful lives are possible. 💚
Let’s continue to reduce stigma and remind one another: help is available, and no one has to walk this path alone.
