"The Town of Elizabeth is taking applications to hire a field worker/OIT (Operator in Training) for it's waste/wastewater operations. This position will also involve grounds maintenance and general labor. Applicants will be expected to train/take classes to obtain certifications in both water and wastewater. Our Community Tool Shed opens for the season on April 28th!

The Community Tool Shed is a tool lending library that offers over 100 tools for rent and is located by our Hope Grows high tunnel in Wood County. The goal is to encourage residents to maintain their properties and neighborhoods, including helping them address code violations, by providing items they would need to do the work. Wood County residents and nonprofit organizations can join the Community Tool Shed for an annual fee, which can vary based on income and other factors. Items can be borrowed for three days and, in some cases, up to seven.
