It's that time of year when the weather cools off and aggravates arthritic pain and for others like me, fibromyalgia pain...

Below is a list of fruit and vegetable juices you can make as well as other herbs and things you can add to "beef" it up

Vegetable Juices:
BEST--- all leafy greens, cauliflower, cumcumber, carrot
GOOD --- beet green, cabbage, alfalfa, green pepper, onion,
potato, reishi mushroom, swiss chard.

ADDITIONS:
BEST --- dandelion root, burdock root, milk thistle, goldenseal, red clover (herbal extracts), primrose oil

GOOD --- alfalfa, basil, barberry, coltsfoot, echinacea, Oregon grape root, yellow dock root (herbal extracts)

PURPLE "PICK ME UP" SMOOTHIE

1/2 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1/2 cup frozen or sliced peaches or mango
1 cup packed spring mix salad greens
1 cup milk or unsweetened almond milk
1 cup plain yogurt or plain greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS:
Add all the ingredients to a blender, process until creamy
Garnish with berries or mint leaves
