Life Care Center of Elizabethton is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Elizabethton, Tennessee.

Our homelike nursing home makes both residents and their loved ones feel like they are part of the Life Care family. Therapists and nurses work with each patient to create an individualized care plan, just for them. We are conveniently located 4 miles from Sycamore Shoals Hospital, making us a great choice for those in need of inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation, as well as skilled nursing care. Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym and resort-like amenities make our residents and patients feel right at home.

🎄❄️ Life Care Center of Elizabethton at the Elizabethton Christmas Parade! ❄️🎄

Not to be left out in our hometown, we recently had the pleasure of participating in the Elizabethton Christmas Parade! What a wonderful experience it was! Our residents had an absolute blast and loved being a fun part of the festivities along the parade route. To make the day even more special, Frosty the Snowman made an appearance, spreading smiles and holiday cheer to all! ☃️💙

Being part of our community means so much to us, and we truly appreciate all the time, effort, and dedication that went into making this parade such a success. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate the season together! 🎄

🎄🚂 Life Care Center of Elizabethton at the Jonesborough Christmas Parade! 🚂🎄

Our associates recently had the joy of representing Life Care Center of Elizabethton in the Jonesborough Christmas Parade, and what a blast it was! With our Polar Express theme, we truly lit up the block by handing out LCCE light sticks from our float, spreading Christmas cheer to everyone along the route. The holiday spirit was alive and shining bright, and the parade was filled with smiles, laughter, and festive fun! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our float and parade experience such a success. Your creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit made this event unforgettable! We’re so proud of our team and grateful to be part of such a wonderful community! 🎅🎁

🎄🦌 12 Days of Christmas Kickoff at Life Care Center of Elizabethton! 🦌🎄

We’ve officially kicked off our 12 Days of Christmas celebrations, and Monday the 15th was Reindeer Day! Our residents had a blast during a fun-filled activity led by April Williams, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Regina Diehl, Senior Director of Rehab.

The game of the day? Reindeer Nerf Target Practice! 🎯 There was lots of laughter and holiday cheer as residents took aim at the “reindeer”… (aka our amazing associates 😄). Safe to say, everyone had a great time, and the smiles were priceless! We can’t wait to share more festive fun as the 12 Days of Christmas continue! 🎅✨

This past weekend, we were thrilled to host our annual Breakfast with Santa for our community, associates, and residents! Everyone enjoyed a fun-filled morning complete with a delicious breakfast, face painting, Christmas crafts, and of course, the star of the show — Santa himself! 🎅❤️

📢 Brandy Grindstaff, our Senior Executive Director, was nominated by the Tennessee Health Care Association/Tennessee Center for Assisted Living and selected by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) as a member of the 2025–2026 Future Leaders program. This competitive, year-long program recognizes emerging leaders committed to advancing long-term and post-acute care. 👏

🌟 Brandy recently joined 39 leaders from across the nation in Washington, D.C., to kick off AHCA/NCAL’s 20th Future Leaders program, which provides leadership training, mentorship, and opportunities to shape the future of the profession.

Brandy was also selected to serve on 2️⃣ national AHCA committees:
• Workforce Committee – Focused on strengthening staff recruitment, retention, engagement, and workforce stability across long-term care
• Customer Experience Committee – Dedicated to advancing customer satisfaction and experience across the continuum of care through data, best practices, and quality improvement.

We handed out hundreds of cups of hot chocolate and had an absolutely wonderful time visiting with our amazing community.
