🪵 These hardwood floors were in rough shape after years of carpet and pet damage.
Once carpet was removed, we found heavy staining and discoloration throughout the floor. At that point there are only two realistic paths forward:
• Replace large sections of flooring
• Stain darker to blend the damage and restore a uniform look
Replacement wasn’t practical due to the amount of damage, so the homeowner chose to stain — and this is how the floors turned out. Clean, consistent, and brought back to life without tearing the house apart.
This is a good example of how the right process and expectations can save a floor that most people would assume needs replaced.
