Through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, a Douglas Fir is planted in memory of every hospice patient who passes in our care. This living tribute grows in national forests across the country, offering comfort to families and helping restore and protect natural landscapes.

To date, this program has planted 113,842 trees in remembrance of the patients and families we are privileged to serve. Thank you for joining us in recognizing Arbor Day and the meaningful traditions that help us honor the people at the heart of our mission.

A great team becomes even stronger when one member consistently shares their knowledge and shows up for others—that is Kristi Sirois, RN, RN Case Manager at the Venice, FL home health care center.

Kristi is known for steady judgment, sharp clinical instincts and a calm presence her coworkers and patients trust. Whether mentoring a new teammate, collaborating on complex wound care or supporting a patient over months and years, Kristi brings a rare mix of skill, kindness and follow through.

Kristi’s MVP Moment is the standard she sets every day, excellent clinical care, real mentorship and steady support for the whole team. The respect she has earned, from families who consider her “like family” to colleagues who still reach out for guidance, speaks for itself.

We are proud to recognize Kristi Sirois and grateful for the difference she makes at Amedisys!

We’re proud to spotlight Kathleen Stephens, a rockstar volunteer in Kimball, TN, who brings genuine care and compassion to every patient she visits. As a retired nurse, Kathleen brings both skill and kindness to her volunteer work.

Many of her patients have experienced the comfort she brings by sharing music at the bedside—Kathleen plays the mountain dulcimer!—creating moments of peace when they’re needed most.

We’re grateful to have Kathleen sharing her gifts with our team and our patients. Thank you, Kathleen, for all the ways you brighten the lives of others.

Our team has been busy celebrating our AMAZING CNA's so this post is a bit late!

When you think of a CNA, what is the first thing you think of? You could think of ones working in nursing homes or you could think that a CNA is one that helps individuals in their home. No matter what you think of, these CNA's provide exceptional, loving care for individuals who are at a vulnerable stage in life, and they do it all with a smile. It goes back to the old saying, "They may not remember who you are, what you say, or even what you looked like, but they will remember how you made them feel."

Our CNA's at Amedisys are the angels who provide the comfort and the care to our patients in need, and most of all, they provide this service with a touch of love. Each and every one of them are a true blessing our team!

Happy CNA week to our compassionate team!💚💚
