Day of Hope 2026 was a huge success. Hearing all the heartfelt testimonies of HOPE from our Carter County residents was so inspiring. To see how the community comes together for a common purpose was so magical. To see how far we have come all from having a little bit of hope. Sometimes all it takes is a mustard seed of faith and it grows from there. Today we got to witness the stories of just that. Thank you to all the community parters near and far. Thank you all for everything you do and for never giving up. Thank you for consistently staying in the fight with us.

Come join us for our annual Day of Hope event at the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library.

Opioid abuse is impacting families, communities, and lives every single day—and it’s closer to home than many of us realize.

What often starts as a prescription can quickly turn into dependence, addiction, and devastating consequences. But there is hope. Prevention, education, and open conversations can make a real difference.

Let’s break the stigma. Let’s talk to our kids, support our friends, and check in on those around us. No one has to face this alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out. Help is available. Recovery is possible. 💜

We’re excited to give a huge shout out to our amazing partners at Live Wire radio 103.9/1420 WEMB News/Talk 📻🙌

Their support in helping us spread awareness and connect with our community means so much. It’s partnerships like this that allow us to reach more families, support our youth, and continue pushing forward in prevention efforts.

Be sure to tune in to Live Wire radio at 103.9 and show them some love—they’re doing great things for our community and you may even hear from one of our very own here at CCDP.

We’re grateful to be working together to make a positive impact. 💙

✨ Let’s Help Carter County Students Shine on Prom Night ✨

Prom is a once-in-a-lifetime moment — a night full of excitement, laughter, and memories that students carry with them long after graduation.

As a community, we can help make sure every student in Carter County and Elizabethton City Schools has the chance to feel confident and celebrated that night.

We are collecting 👗gently used prom dresses👗 for a special prom event we are hosting next month. If you have a dress tucked away in your closet, consider passing it along so another student can experience the joy of finding the perfect dress.

A simple donation can turn into confidence, smiles, and a night our kids will never forget. 💜

👗 Dress donations can be dropped off at:
