The RYS 200 students have been working so hard these past few weeks - we’ve not had time for many pictures!
In the past month, they’ve studied the anatomy of the lower and upper body and how that relates to yoga poses and why some poses are hard - or easy!
They’ve also studied with .y.c Pam Cox, RYT 500, learning about the different styles of pranayama - breath work used to calm the nervous systems and basic meditation techniques to weave into a class.
Peggy Snow, E-RYT 500, taught them the basics of constructing a sequence for classes that moved along anatomic planes and how to weave specific intentions into a class.
I am grateful for my friends and colleagues who are as passionate and love to share their knowledge with the students, and are an integral part of this training. 🙏
