Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is hiring an aquatic wellness specialist to work on programming for the community's indoor and outdoor pools.

Candidates must have experience leading or prescribing land and water exercise for individuals and groups of all ages, and in designing fitness programs for adults age 55+, including special populations (ex: post-cardiac rehabilitation, stroke, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease, etc.).

Required certifications: CPR, AED and First Aid.

A bachelor's degree in a health or fitness-related field, AFAA, NETA, ACSM Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer or Exercise Physiologist or equivalent and/or lifeguard certification are preferred.

Youth from the Masonic Children’s Home of Pennsylvania enjoyed a mid-week pick-me-up thanks to the Masonic Village Shrine Club at their 4th Annual Pizza Party. The kids dined on pizza, soda and cookies, and thanks to the Zembo Shrine Clowns, learned the art of creating with balloons!

Learn about "The Impact of Alzheimer's and Dementia in Our Community" from Masonic Village residents and family members during a free presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m., in the Freemasons Cultural Center - Deike Auditorium.

Speakers include resident family member Sean Terwilliger, who received an early-onset Alzheimer's disease diagnosis in June 2024; resident George Kohlweiler, whose wife, Angie, had Alzheimer's disease; and representatives from the Lancaster chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
