Today, we pause as a community to honor the life of Ben Pennington.

Ben was more than a hometown hero — he was a son, a teammate, and a young man who chose a life of service. His commitment, strength, and character reflect the very best of what this community stands for.

Our hearts are with his parents, Tim & Carrie and sister Mackenzie as they walk through this unimaginable loss.

We are also incredibly proud of our hometown. The way this community has shown up — lining the streets, standing together, honoring Ben — is a powerful reminder of the strength, unity, and love that lives here.
