The key 🔑 to success = consistency + preparation

I think most of us don’t leave the house without our phone 📲 + keys 🔐 + wallet soooo let’s simply ADD our health-promoting aids:

1.) water bottle 🥤(I get mine ready BEFORE I get dressed; because when I’m running out the door, the likelihood that I’ll take time to fill it up is 0/100)

2.) snacks 🥜, seeds, protein/granola bar…anything shelf stable…to help keep my energy + fuel tank steady & prevent HANGRY mode 😅

3.) Digestive enzymes (especially when traveling for me — personally to help reduce bloat/gas 💨from foods I love, but sometimes they just don’t love me back) and/or maybe supplements 💊 or electrolytes 💧

Turns out service + a little friendly competition = 🔥

Tonight, the Rotary Club of Elizabethtown teamed up with the Rotary Club of Harrisburg at the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to pack boxes for those in need… but we may have taken the “teamwork” part a little competitively 😏

15 minutes on the clock.
Game faces on.
Tape flying. Boxes stacking.

Final score:
Elizabethtown – 108 📦
Harrisburg – 88 📦

Not saying we’re competitive… but if there were gold medals for cardboard speed packing, we’d be clearing shelf space for them 🥇😂

All jokes aside, it was an awesome night serving together and making a real impact. Same time in May, Harrisburg? 😉

Spring 🌷 seasonal produce have arrived!! Here’s a little tip on how to keep your fresh asparagus nice + crisp.

Treat them like a bouquet of flowers 💐 add them to a bowl/vase filled with water. When you’re ready to use, wash + trim!
