In honor of breast cancer awareness month, proceeds from this contest will be donated to the Elizabethtown Community Hospital Infusion Clinic to assist cancer patients with travel costs for treatment.

HOW TO TALK TO KIDS ABOUT VIOLENT IMAGES:

There have been several reports from community members about concerns with the reaction by children (and adults) having been exposed to the graphic images of Charlie Kirk's death. PBS had a helpful video with how to address children's reactions and I share this with you.

In general, please monitor access to social media, check-in with your child about their exposure to the images, validate their feelings, and educate about how to protect themselves from potential graphic news. AND! Let them know that you are there for them if there are delayed reactions.
