A wonderful class tonight on “ Navigating Your Emotional GPS “ with participants accessing life experiences where they knew what to do in their bodies and “gut” , but sometimes didn’t listen. Usually the messages and meaning were apparent in retrospect, but kept trying to be heard. The more these emotional signals weren’t recognized or understood, the more bodily symptoms tried to speak on their behalf.
Here I am discussing the Emotion Wheel, which illustrates how core emotions branch off into subset categories. The wheel is a helpful visual tool for discerning exactly what is going on at our deepest level of alert. Clarity helps us have a better sense of direction- our own innate GPS!
