Today, on Good Friday, we reflect on sacrifice, love, and the power of hope, even in the midst of hardship.
In the work we do each day, we see the Fridays people face… but we also believe in the promise of Sunday: restoration, new beginnings, and hope rising again.

We are currently in need of NEW underwear for both men and women.
📏 Sizes Needed: Small – 3X

These items go directly to individuals in our community who are experiencing hardship. Something so basic can make a huge difference in someone’s dignity and confidence.
All drop-offs:
📍 1031 W. 5th St., Elk City, OK, 73644
⏰ 9 am - 4 pm / Monday - Thursday. Closed from 12 pm - 1 pm for lunch.

We’re so excited to share that we received a $1,200 Spark Good Local Grant from Walmart here in Elk City! ✨

This funding will directly support our benevolence program, allowing us to continue assisting individuals and families in our community who need a helping hand.

Although most main roads are clear, side roads and our office are not. WOFCC will be closed tomorrow, Monday the 26th, to ensure the safety of our staff.

Good morning, friends. 🤍

With colder temperatures coming in, we want to help in every way we can. We have blankets, hand warmers, and beanies available for anyone in need. Just stop by our office, and we’ll be happy to help you out.

Our friends at First Baptist Church in Elk City are also opening their doors as a warming shelter for those in need. Their flyer is attached with additional details.
If you are unhoused and do not have a valid ID required to stay at the warming shelter, please come speak with us at the office. We are here to help.

If you made any monetary donations to WOFCC in 2025, your year-end donation letter has been sent. Each letter includes your total contributions for 2025 along with our Tax ID number for tax purposes.
