Our primary concern continues to be the health and safety of our clients, staff, and volunteers. Due to the forecasted extreme cold temperatures for Friday, January 23rd and Saturday, January 24th, Kenneth Young Center will transition to remote workdays for both of these days. All physical locations will be closed, except Mount Prospect (the Living Room and Drop-In Center will remain open with their regular schedules). Crisis and community-based teams will continue to deliver essential services. Please take all precautions to be safe during the extreme weather.

Our Drop-In Center is:
-Open to adults 18+ who identify as having any type of mental health challenges
-Open 364 days a year (hours vary by day - please see the calendar)
-Not a clinical service or treatment, and people attending do not need to be a KYC client or complete an intake assessment
-Staffed by individuals with lived experience (Peer Specialists) and provides a safe, inclusive environment for people to socialize, have fun, and build community
-No cost to Guests (outside of special events where a small cost is noted)

Transportation is available depending on your location
