We had so much fun celebrating our amazing LEAs last week. We had a candy bar, crazy hair day and banana split bar. We also gave our LEAs a framed poem and a rose.

Today we celebrated Star Wars day by having a Yoda Soda social and listening to Star Wars music. During our social Alexians Lifestyle specialist Xavier dropped by to show us some recent pictures he had taken on his trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios-Star Wars.

We are incredibly proud of our Victory Centre of Roseland team and all of their support for our wonderful and well-deserving residents. We were honored to host the signing of this critical legislation to promote a better life and quality of care for seniors throughout Illinois. Thank you to Governor Pritzker and his administration for championing the needs of our greatest generation.

Victory Centre of Roseland staff welcomed Governor Pritzker to the community yesterday to officially sign the 246 Nursing Home Funding Reform Bill. This Bill will allow for increased funding to help us to increase the level of dignified purpose filled life we offer our Seniors.

You can be sure our Celebration followed!!!

We are proud to celebrate Marquita Mitchell's 7-year anniversary with Pathway to Living and Victory Centre. Marquita started with us as a Viva! Life Coordinator at Victory Centre of Roseland and was promoted into the Business Office Manager role at Victory Centre of Galewood and has recently relocated to Victory Centre of South Chicago.

"Marquita is a great team member, is dedicated, dependable and has a heart of gold for the residents and co-workers. She makes it a point to take time with each resident and team member and to never rush them. Marquita has only been with the South Chicago team since last November but during that time has gained the respect of the team members and residents. She is an asset to our community in South Chicago, has what it takes to bring us to the next level of service and I am blessed to have her on my team." Anthony Shell, Executive Director
