As we say goodbye to Meg, our incredible Community Relations Director, we can’t help but reflect on the countless ways she has brought energy, creativity, and connection into our community. Meg was the driving force behind so many of the events and experiences that brought people together, often working behind the scenes to make sure every detail felt thoughtful and special. Whether she was coordinating large-scale gatherings or adding those extra touches that made an event unforgettable, she approached it all with passion and pride. And then there were the things only Meg could do… like somehow transforming our (huge) alcove space during the holiday season by decorating our practically two-story tall Christmas tree. Truly, she earned the unofficial title of Queen of the Christmas Tree, carefully placing every ornament with a level of dedication and skill that felt like its own kind of magic.
Her creativity didn’t stop there. Meg had a vision for making our events not just enjoyable, but memorable like bringing in fun and interactive elements such as the 360 Photo Booth for our staff Christmas party and the light box photo booth at our gala, giving everyone a chance to capture moments in such a unique way. But beyond all of that, what truly set Meg apart was the way she made people feel. She had an incredible gift for welcoming prospective residents and newcomers, instantly putting them at ease and making them feel like they belonged from the very first moment. She lit up every room she walked into, and that warmth and authenticity left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her.
At her farewell celebration, it was clear just how much she will be missed through the laughter, the stories, and the heartfelt gratitude shared. Meg, thank you for the joy, dedication, and light you brought into this community. While we will miss you dearly, we are so excited to see where your next adventure takes you: you will always have a place here with us.
P.S. If you noticed the Chick-fil-A and the cheetah print, those were two of Meg’s favorite - so it only felt right to celebrate her in true Meg fashion!! 🐆✨
